Any serious student and scholar in the field of Indian and Buddhist studies is welcome to use the library collection under the following conditions: Visitors should inform the Library of their visit in advance either by phone, fax, e-mail, or letter, and are kindly requested to submit a letter of introduction to the Librarian and provide some personal identification in order to obtain permission. Reading and reproducing materials is possible in the Library . But visitors cannot borrow materials. For the consultation of the Old Buddhist Manuscripts in Japanese Collections, please ask the Library. Library Hours : 10 : 00 - 17 : 00, Monday through Friday.
